Code of conduct

How people in the BNBGuilds community treat each other. Last updated 15 October 2026.

Who it covers

  • Ambassadors, on the dashboard, in the Telegram group and when they speak for the programme on X.
  • Members of the Telegram group, whether or not they are ambassadors.
  • The team, and anyone who contributes to the site’s code.

What we expect

  • Be kind and assume good faith. People join from many countries and write in their second or third language.
  • Disagree about ideas, not people, and take a no for an answer.
  • Back each other’s work honestly: support a post because you read it and mean it.
  • Say plainly that this is a community build. It is not an official BNB Chain product, and none of us speak for BNB Chain.
  • Keep what you see about other ambassadors inside the programme. Profiles are shown to members, not to the public, unless someone chose a public card, and that choice is theirs.

What isn’t allowed

  • Harassment, threats, insults, and discrimination for any reason, including nationality, language, religion, gender, sexuality, age or disability.
  • Scams and anything that puts people’s money at risk: fake airdrops, phishing links, “send and get double back”, wallet-drainer sites, or asking anyone for a seed phrase or private key.
  • Pretending to be someone else, including the team, another ambassador, or BNB Chain staff.
  • Faking engagement: marking support you didn’t give, pressing “Liked it” for a like you didn’t leave, bought followers or interactions, bots, or several accounts counted as different people.
  • Presenting a trade or token as a sure thing, or promising returns. Nothing here is financial advice.
  • Spam, repeated self-promotion in the group, and unsolicited direct messages selling something.
  • Sharing someone’s private information without their permission: their profile details, messages, wallets, or where they live.
  • Anything illegal where you or the person you’re talking to live.

What the team can do

We look at what happened, how serious it was, and whether it has happened before. Depending on that, the team may:

  • Remind you of these rules, privately.
  • Give a formal warning, and remove the post, message or support that broke them.
  • Pause your ambassador account, which takes you out of the feeds and the weekly numbers while it lasts.
  • Remove you from the programme and the Telegram group.

Scams, threats and sharing someone’s private information can lead straight to removal, without a warning first.

How to report something

Use the contact form and choose “Someone’s behavior”, or write to [email protected]. Say what happened, where and when, and include a link or screenshot if you have one.

Reports are read by the team and kept private. We won’t tell the person you reported who you are, and nobody is punished for a report made in good faith. If a report is about someone on the team, they’re left out of handling it.

A security problem with the site itself goes through the security policy instead.

Disagreeing with a decision

If the team acted on something you think was misread, write to us the same way within 30 days, and someone who wasn’t part of the first decision will look at it again. Back to the explorer
